Actually, it all came together in about four days. Much faster than I anticipated being so near the holidays.
Were there any memorable moments from this transport?
Memorable, as in panic! The driver of one leg had a last-minute (less than 24 hrs before starting the transport) medical issue and couldn’t drive. We worked through it by having other folks step up to help.
The other amazing thing was that the weather cooperated for both days of the transport.
What could have made this transport better?
Wishing that our one driver didn’t have a medical issue.

Everybody wanted to keep Theo after they met him.
Why did you take this transport, what compelled you to help?
I am transport coordinator for SOAR (Starting Over Airedale Rescue. This young fella was adopted and had to travel from foster home to forever home.
The hope was that he reaches his new home and people for the holidays. We did it!!!
