We appreciate your interest in wanting to help save animals and there are a number of ways you can get involved to benefit the animal rescue community. On any animal rescue transport there is a potential risk of injury from animals during the normal course of handling them on a transport. At Doobert.com we want to make sure that we are not putting minors at risk without appropriate parental permission. Although Doobert.com is just a referral and connection software, we want to do our part to support the rescue and shelter groups planning the animal transports by requiring volunteers to be 18 or of legal majority age in their state.
If I am not 18 can I still help with transports?
– If you are not 18 or of legal majority in your state, there are a number of things you can do.
- You can work with a parent or relative by having them sign-up for Doobert.com and then participate with them in a transport with their permission.
- You can contact us for a parental release form so that your parent or guardian can approve your participation in animal rescue transport and your use of Doobert.com. Please contact us at [email protected].
