Or maybe you’re a volunteer that only wants to be notified about transports being created within a specific location during certain days?
Either way, you can make those things happen in just a few simple steps!
How to Set-Up Your Notification Settings
Whether you signed up as an organization or an individual volunteer, Doobert gives you the ability to set-up your notification settings however you like. You can choose what you want to be notified of and how you want to be notified. Simply follow the steps below to configure your notifications to your liking.
Step 1: Go to the More tab

You can choose to be notified about routes created within a specific number of miles so you can hitch a ride for your animals.
You can also enable notifications for new organizations that are near your area to make it easier for you to find potential partner organizations.
Lastly, you can set up your account to receive notifications for when a new volunteer completes a certain number of transports for you. This allows you to be able to see to it that they’re properly screened and of course, onboarded if they wish to continue transporting for your organization.
You have the option to decide whether to be notified through your Organization Dashboard, via email, or both.
After setting up your notifications, click the Update button located on the bottom of the page.
Step 1: Click on Availability & Notifications
On your volunteer dashboard, go to the Info tab and click Availability & Notifications.
Step 2: Specify your availability
First, select the days when you’re available to join transports.
Next, provide a specific number of miles to be notified of transports that pass through your area.
Your radius circle begins at the location of your pin on the Doobert Volunteers map. To adjust your pin, click View My Profiles & Vehicles on the upper part of the page.
After that, under My Profile, at the lower right-hand side, click View/Adjust My Pin and adjust your pin accordingly.
Finalize your notification settings by providing your contact details to receive notifications on your chosen medium (via text, email, or both) then hit Save.
