Teamwork makes the dream work! The more fosters you invite to collaborate with your organization, the more animals you can save!
Step 1. On your organization dashboard, select ‘Fosterspace’ then choose ‘Dashboard’.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Current Fosters’ quadrant and click the plus button.
Step 3: If you are looking for a multiple and wide variety of fosters, click ‘Start Searching’. Otherwise, if you have a specific foster in mind, just type in the email address in the textbox and click ‘Invite’.
Step 4: If you choose ‘Start Searching’, you will be redirected to the ‘Search for Volunteers’ page to filter your search.
Step 5: Use the distance filter such as your zip code, radius, and animal type to foster, to narrow down your search results.
Step 6: Click the ‘Search’ button.
Step 7: To view the volunteer’s profile, click their name from the list. Review their information and see if they are the perfect match for your foster animal.
Step 8: To send a foster request, go back to the Search Results page and click the ‘Invite to Foster’ button.
You will know that it has been sent to the foster if the Invite to Foster button changed into a check icon.
Step 9: Once the volunteer accepts your foster request, they will be added to your ‘Current Foster’ list quadrant in Fosterspace.
And that’s how you invite a foster to become the latest helping hand in your organization!
