Archiving Cases

Archiving cases is essential for those cases that are either completed, closed, or on hold. When you archive cases in the Companion Case Management module, they will be automatically closed. Here’s how to archive active cases.

Step 1: On your Organization dashboard, click the ‘Companion Case Management’ then select ‘Cases’.

There are two ways to archive a case in CCM. The first one is by clicking the three-dot icon on the last column and the second one is by archiving in the Case Detail itself.

Step 2: For the first way, simply click on the three-dot icon.

Step 3: Click on ‘Archive’.

The second way is by clicking the ‘Case Name’ of the case you want to archive.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Case Name’ of the case you wanted to archive.

Step 2: On the ‘Case Detail’ page, click on ‘Archive Case’. 

Step 3: A pop-up reminder will appear stating that changing to archived status will close the case. Click ‘Yes, Continue’.

And that’s how you archive your case! It will be removed from your list of active cases.
