How to Start A Fundraiser
Step 1: Click on the More tab
Step 2: Click on the Fundraiser tile
Step 3: Select Create a Fundraiser
Step 4: Select the type of fundraiser that you want
Step 5: Provide the fundraiser details
Enter the title that you want to show up on your fundraiser page, your custom URL, and a description for the fundraiser or the story behind it.
Next, provide the breakdown of the amount you’re trying to raise and upload an image or video that you want to show on your fundraiser page.
Lastly, enter your PayPal email and click Continue.
Step 6: Design your fundraiser page
You can choose to select from premade templates or customize your own.
For the premade templates, you simply click Select below the design that you want and you’ll be good to go.
If you choose to customize your fundraiser page, you’ll have the option to choose from different colors, backgrounds, and font pairings.
Step 7: Publish your fundraiser page
After customizing your fundraiser page, you can go ahead and publish it or save it to draft to be posted at a later time.
Once your fundraiser page is published, you’ll be able to monitor the funds you raise there as well as and post updates for visitors to see.
People that visit the page will be able to view your organization’s public Doobert profile and share your fundraiser on different social media platforms and even via email.
