We all know how important it is for your organization to maintain regular contact with your fosters. It could be through emails, texts, or even Facebook messenger.
It allows you to monitor your rescues and also ensure that you’re providing your fosters with the support that they need throughout the fostering period.
But, using different mediums of communication can get very confusing, let alone time-consuming.
And, when a foster contacts you, it can be hard to identify which pet they’re fostering without having to either ask or check your records.
Well, if you’re already signed up on Doobert, you might want to check out the Fosterspace tab on your Organization Dashboard.
There, you’ll find the Messages quadrant, which is built to make it easy for you to communicate with your fosters and never get them mixed up ever again.
Follow these steps to get started.
Step 1: Go to the Fosterspace tab
Step 2: Go to the Messages quadrant
Step 3: Click on the plus icon
Step 4: Type in a foster’s name
The system will auto-predict the names as you type.
Step 5: Type in your message
Step 6: Hit Enter to send your message
When your foster replies, their name will show up at the top of your message list and be highlighted with a blue dot.
It will also reflect in the Current Fosters quadrant located on the lower left-hand side.
Once you’ve opened the message, the blue dot disappears.
And the message icon in the Current Fosters quadrant goes back to normal.
