Barks and Meows Rescue pulled George and Sara from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. We had George treated for heartworm as he tested positive and he was now ready for his journeymen Canada. Sara was very sweet and Canadians love their black dogs so she was a go as well. They traveled by volunteer relay transport from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and finally to Canada.
