Did you know that you can coordinate high-volume transports on Doobert?
You can easily invite other sending or receiving organizations to collaborate and allow them to reserve a spot in your vehicle to transport their own animals.
Need help with the transport costs? No problem! Doobert lets you set the cost for each crate that you have available!
Start creating your own transports by following the steps below.
At the top section, provide the basic transport information.
Then, enter the From and To locations.
After that, add the Doobert organizations that you’re collaborating with on the transport. If no other organization will be joining your transport, you can leave this section blank.
Next, specify the number and types of crates that you have available for other organizations to reserve as well as the cost for each crate. If you don’t want to charge for your spare crates, you can just set the cost to $0.
You can also indicate if you have a nursing pet on board that may be able to take in orphaned neonatal animals.
Finalize your transport information then click “Save & Continue”.
If your route has multiple stops, you’ll need to divide it into multiple transport legs. You can click “Add Ground Leg” to manually add legs.
Or “Auto-split” if you want our system to automatically break your route into legs for you.
When you choose to auto-split, you can specify the schedule for the entire route and the number of miles for each leg.
After creating the transport legs and reviewing all the details, click “Publish Transport” and we’ll automatically alert available transport volunteers about your transport.
