Mayberry4Paws

Mayberry4Paws - a 501 c 3 non-profit group - works to subsidize the cost of spaying and neutering pets in economically disadvantaged households. The ultimate goal is to reduce the number of dogs/cats entering the Surry County Animal Shelter and reduce the number of pets killed there. We incorporate a fostering network into our mission to keep dogs safe while they await adoption. Fostering further reduces the number of dogs killed at the shelter.

We have a surrender form, foster application, adoption application, adoption agreement. We vet all rescue and adoption partners. Any dog leaving the state carries a health certificate, completed to the requirements of the receiving rescue, adoption partner, and in accordance with state regulations in which receiving party is located.
