Martin Buber’s saying “An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language”, can have multiple meanings. For example,  can you imagine looking into the eyes of your newly, adopted pet and seeing what they have gone through in their life? The facts of animal neglect and abuse is real and it is unthinkable what some animals have to endure. This saying could be an eye-opener to some but the meaning behind this could also be portrayed as looking into the eyes of an animal could cause you to fall deeply in love with them.
