How Does Adding Your Volunteers on Doobert Benefit You?
Did you know that having your volunteers on Doobert allows you to give them permission to co-manage your organization’s account?
You have complete control over which functionalities you give them access to.
Maybe you need someone to oversee transports or manage animal profiles; you can easily restrict a volunteer’s access to only those specific tasks.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to giving volunteer permissions:
Step 1: Go to the More tab
Step 2: Click on the People Permissions tile
Step 3: Click Add Volunteer Permission
Step 4: Find the volunteer you want to give permission to
You can type in their name or email address in the search box.
Step 5: Click on the name of the volunteer
Step 6: Click View Profile
Step 7: Click Invite User
You’ll find the Invite User button on the bottom of the volunteer’s profile.
Step 8: Indicate the volunteer’s access level
Check the boxes beside the functions that you want to give your volunteer access to and click the Invite User button on the bottom.
How to Search for Specific Volunteers
Another thing you can do on Doobert is to search for volunteers according to their active profiles and the information they indicated on each one.
This feature makes it easy for you to find specific volunteers, located in specific areas, and available at specific schedules—be it fosters, photographers, or even virtual volunteers.
Step 1: Go to the Partners tab
Step 2: Click Search
Step 3: Select Find Volunteers
Step 4: Choose the type of volunteer you’re looking for
Step 5: Specify the details
Step 6: Click Search
